I have two new paintings included in Blank Space Gallery’s 2024 winter online exhibit, entitled BLANK SPACE SHOW 2024.

From the viewing room text:

Randall Stoltzfus is an artist whose abstract paintings feature hand-painted circles to create luminous and vivid landscapes with both figurative and abstract elements … Stoltzfus’s meticulous technique of painting hundreds of circles by hand reveals patterns that are special to the eye and immerses the viewer into a surreal visual experience.

The exhibit also includes work by gallery artists Jose Margulis, Miguel Vallinas, Euijin Kim, Matthew Langley, Seunghwui Koo, Hyunsook Jeong, Yuki Matsueda, Yoo Hyun, Heekyung Kim, Kyuhak Lee, Byung Jin Kim, and Boree Hur.

A vertical abstract painting in gold tones with a little bit of white wall showing on all sides. The painting is made up of small hand-painted circles and builds from dark brown and blue at the bottom edges toward a central white area accented with touches of gold leaf. The composition evokes a landscape space and incorporates several larger circular or curvilinear forms stacked on top of each other, giving it a balanced, figurative presence.
