New Letters Summer 2020

As a companion to all of this, we have the artwork of Randall Stoltzfus, a self-described painter of light, whose work is stunning to behold. I can’t think of a better visual companion to the writing gathered here, since the feeling of putting together this issue has been one of panning for gold, of plucking up what sparkles, trying to capture it.

I’m honored to be featured in the Summer issue of New Letters, one of the oldest literary magazines in the United States. My painting Rainmaker really works on that cover! And I’m humbled by the quality of writing that I get to keep company with in these pages.

You can order the issue from the New Letters website.
